Enterasys' Matrix N-Series implemented NetFlow version 5 and version 9 on the Matrix N-Series switches. The Matrix DFE (Distributed Forwarding Engine) collects NetFlow data on both switched and routed frame which means DFE modules collect and report flow data at gigabit speeds. The Matrix N-Series provides "hi-fidelity" NetFlow (which measures and reports all IP traffic).
